Ive been on other forums on here about not being able to get sky go anymore on my windows 10 computer, which i still cant get,but thats not what i want to bring up again, now im a pensioner ,ive had the full package with sky for over 20 years, now being a pensioner ,it wouldnt hurt sky if they was to let all pensioners ,that have been with them for years to have sky for free say about two months a year, for there loyalty has well has being a pensioner, they make enough money,it would not hurt them to do that,if i was head of a company like that,i would do that.

Re: free
Sky choose not to give extra discounts to pensioners (I've joined this club a few months ago) and tbh they are in the business of making money. Discounts boil down to what's available at the time and your negotiating skills.
Sky are not obliged to offer any customer a discount, in fact recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are much harder to come by.

Re: free
i do understand ,there only in it to make money, its just that i said it wouldnt hurt them to do that, even though id been with them for over 20 years ,i had to haggle with them a few months ago to let me have the full package cheaper, and even then they get you in a new contract that way,and when my contract runs out ,it will go up sky hight again, then id have to haggle all over again ,or leave them

That would mean non pensioners paying more to compensate. Probably not a very popular move.

Not sure your shareholders would allow you to do that.
Subscription TV services aren't deemed a necessity so I wouldn't really expect anything like to cover TV subscriptions. It's a bit different for broadband and phone services as these are essential, and their are processes and special tariffs available for those who most need the support.

Alternatively you could still sort out an internet connection to your Sky box and try to get Sky Go working (still OK on my W11 desktop), as we've discussed already.
