different name on bank statement

Does anyone know if sky show up as business.s on bank statement? Thank you

Not unless you are a Sky Business customer it wouldn't do so if you are seeing this the chances are it is not a Sky payment.

Hi @Jessie891  I have just checked my online bank statement and my direct debit shows up as Sky TV.  You can check that the correct amount has been taken from your bank by going to MySky on your TV homepage and selecting Sky bills.  Here you can check your current, past and estimated future bills.

It says the exact same amount thats why I thought it would be sky and it was meant to be took out today as well but usually it says sky or sky TV. Im so worried what it is. Thank you for your reply

@Jessie891   Are you seeing this in your banking app?  If so it's possible, depending on who you bank with, that they've simply misidentified the payee.

If you check your Sky account does the bill show as paid?

I agree with this.

Strangely when my payment went through last week, my bank has got the Sky TV payment down under the"business.s on" name with the broadband payment going through under the usual payee name.

I wasn't too concerned about it as i  could see the amount was for the TV portion of my bill and I checked in MySky that the payment reached Sky, and it showed as paid.

I had this as well except on Friday. My card has been blocked since then as my bank recognised it as fraud. I've been going round in circles all morning trying to confirm whether or not it was sky that have taken the payment as my bank will not release my card unless I have confirmation that it was infact sky and not fraudulent activity on my account

Yes it states that my bill was paid on Friday which is the exact date my bill is typically due

@Megan153  That should be proof for your bank to release the card as the payment is genuine.

Has anyone else ever had the name https://www.busine ever come up on the bank statement as sky? It's the exact same amount as my sky usuallly is and has taken the correct amount with my sky bill saying paid in just very confused if this is correct as the bank is telling me it's nothing to do with sky.
