Can someone please explain why the bills are going up by 20%?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAnnual price increase which happens each April 1st. Once you get your individual email or letter outlining your increases you can cancel Broadband/Talk within 30 days penalty free. This doesn't apply to TV subscriptions.
For Sky Talk tariff charges increase on April 1st whilst non inclusive call charges increase in May.

Thank you Daniel, I am well aware prices increase every April. Why is it 20% though I seems excessive to me! is there any justification?

Sky's percentage increase is applied to the standard, gross price, not the discounted price you may be paying. Sky's average gross increase is less than 7%.
