app says bill has been paid yet the money hasnt left my bank account

im just wondering when they will take the money from my account and im a bit confused

Mine has said the same, I have recently done a bank switch and think maybe the reason as can't see that direct debit on my new bank account.

Your bank account should update within the next 24 hours or so if Sky have said the funds have been taken.

My bill was supposed to be taken on the 14th but still nothing as of yet?

Your bill payment fell on a Saturday. Payments aren't processed at the weekend or on a bank holiday. I would expect it'll be done today.

Knew payments wouldn't be taken on Weekend but thought would be taken next working day. Strange. I'll keep an eye 🤷🏻‍♂️

@Wyman96  The fact that you can't see the dd via online banking could also be factor in payment yet to be taken 

 

when did the switch complete

Switch completed about a week before. When I try to amend payment method on app it comes up with an error. If I click make a manual payment it says 0 balance to pay.
