Will discount extend contract?
Hi,
Today we had a bad experience upgrading broadband. It all got sorted in the end, and the guy we spoke to applied an additional discount to our TV package, which he offered without prompting (£5 a month).
we already have a decent price for sky Q, including sports, movies and multi room, but those offers end in a October. This extra discount looks to extend out TV contract by 24 months but with our current offers still finishing in October
so this makes wonder if I'm better off calling to reject the further discount? As it looks like this will leave me contract with just a £5 discount.
has anyone had a similar experience. The emails that have come only reference sky signature but states Sky TV minimum term of 24 months, which I can only assume means the full package I have now, which would be very expensive with just a £5 discount applied.

That would be a mistake. Your service will be suspended, and you won't be able to speak to Sky. Best give Sky a call now, before doing anything.
