Why should current customers pay more

Below is a new sky customer offer but myself as a 20 year vip has to pay £57 not sure what the vip status stands for except pay more that new customers Sky Stream with Sky TV, Netflix & Ultrafast Broadband

£39a month Prices may change during 24 month contract/month

Exclusive shows, comedies & more

It's not a particularly new concept. Most, if not all providers do this now. From recent posts on here it does seem that decent deals are increasingly hard to find. If you choose to leave the same will happen at the end of your discounted deal with whoever you go with. Once you've been away for 18 months you'll be able to rejoin and benefit from new customer discounts.

Every customer has a VIP status, all the VIP statues is for is the Sky VIP rewards programme, so you get extra entries into competitions and tickets ballots the longer you have been a Sky customer. The VIP level has nothing to do with any type of renewal discounts you will get from Sky.
