Not 100% sure what you mean but if you owe Virgin for a period of contract (and/or early termination charges) then you have to pay it, Sky won't.

Assuming you did correctly give notice to cancel the contract then you are only liable for the period of notice.

Sky doesn't pay your bill but if Virgin have charged you an early termination fee then Sky will give you to to £100 in credit for both Broadband/Talk and TV if you put in a claim by proving the requited details as per this link which explains what you need to do:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/switching-credit-offer

You must provide a copy of the bill from BT where you have been charged and a copy of a statement showing that you have paid it and send these to Sky via this email address - switching credit @sky.uk (all one word without the gap)

So have you done this ?

Sky cannot 'pay your bill' because it would be breaking data protection regulations for Virgin to tell Sky anything about your account.  As @caesarome indicates, you pay the bill and then claim a contribution towards this cost as an account credit from Sky.

Re: Why hasn't Sky paid Virgin my change over bill?

Thanks Guys, I appreciate your swift reply to my query, but the problem I have is that I am going to Pay Virgin Media a red cent, because as any form of any form of Contract states that, as long as you give 4wks of not a renewal of a Contract that is due to finish, my services should have been cut off, but funnily it was left on till the day Sky started my Services. I have recordings of my call a month before the contract end date, and a recording of my refusal of a further 2yr Contract because of the Price, and told them to pick up there equipment on the 27th of July, so I have all the evidence I need, so if there giving free Services after I officially told them to Terminate, that is there problem.

@FIXIT-63

As we stated earlier Sky are not responsible for paying any outstanding bill you have with Virgin because that is between you and them and is nothing to do with Sky.

That's typically what would happen if you used the One Touch Switching service.

The broadband switch system operates on the fundamental assumption that households want (and need) continuous service.
