Where is my refund

I pre paid a bill on 16th may, till now i didn't got my money back, what [removed] is going on, last time as well, after i complained it was credited to my account, and my credit score gone because of guys... i don't know what's wrong with your company...

Just to clarify, you made an unnecessary manual payment which you want refunding. Is that correct?

We're customers here, same as you.

 

It's not clear from your post what has happened. Are you saying you made a manual payment on 16th May and later a normal monthly payment was made as well? 

 

If your Sky account is in credit and your direct debit or monthly card payment is still in place, we can help you request a manual refund.

 

It's best not to make manual payments unless Sky ask you to. They're not necessary.

I ordered a mobile for that i paid down payment, after that unfortunately ordered cancelled, but i didn't got my money back

Okay, that's different then. It’s possible you may have failed one of the required credit check(s). For a sim deal it’s just a soft credit check, for a device there’s also an enhanced check. Any emails which confirm or cancel the order sometimes arrive out of sequence. See this link for Skys guidance ~

Be aware that if you keep trying to order the device this could further impact your credit score. If you contact Sky they would be able to confirm that’s the reason your order was cancelled but not why you failed the credit check in the first place as they are not allowed to view your credit record. You would have to sign up to a credit reference agency like Experian or Equifax, which would give you access to your credit record.

Any upfront payment you’ve made should be refunded after about 14 days but recent posts suggest it’s taking a bit longer in which case you’ll need to call Sky to chase it up.
