Want to delete primary iD holder sky ID

Hello,

I have a sky package and I am the bill payer and sky account holder. I had not set up a sky ID as I do not really use the internet.  Previously I gave my sky account details to a lodger and they created there own Sky ID and loged in therefore becoming the primary ID holder. Later on I have created a sky ID and signed in with that.

Unfortunatally I had to remove the lodger but I can see on my account they still access to my sky account and keep adding SkyGo devices.

I am not able to delete there sky ID account from my sky service becasue they are the primary ID holder and only the primary ID holder has permission to do that.

What can I do to remove there access my Sky account?

@MichaelM10101  You can't delete a primary id

the only way around the sky go issue is to logout of all devices and change the password

If you know what the login details are then for Sky Go try this:

First change your password:

https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/

Then go to this link:

https://skyid.sky.com/authorise/manage

If you tick "Sky Apps" and then the remove button, then anyone using SkyGo or SkyNews or SkySports apps etc. using your credentials will have the previous auth token removed and will be forced to sign in again (using the new password only you know). Will mean people you want to use your ID will need to do the same, but will force whoever is using your previous details off, this might not stop them straight away but it will over a day or so.

Re: Want to delete primary iD holder sky ID

Thank you for that but I don't think it will work as they have there own sky ID account which I cannot log into as I do not know thier password so therefore cannot change they password.

Then there will be nothing that anyone can do as they are the account holder. Sadly you have gone about this the wrong way as you should never give anyway else primary access to your account.

@MichaelM10101 if your Sky account is linked to their Sky ID, I think you'll have to contact Sky to see if they can unlink it. You'll then be able to set up a new (primary) Sky ID, and link your Sky account to it.
