I accidentally made a payment intended for my mobile bill into my old broadband account. I was told it was non transferable and had to be refunded that was the 17th May. Long story short I have been in touch 5 times, the initial refund was sent to an old bank account despite my current account being confirmed and I was informed once it had bounced back it would automatically be reissued to the correct account. This didn't happen I had to chase it. 3 phone calls later and 3 reissued refunds and Im still waiting. I have been told it has been escalated and that they have also logged a complaint. When I ask what the problem is I keep getting told they don't know, wait 3 to 5 WD and repeat. I'm all out of patience and extremely frustrated.

It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works:

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

Once that speech bubble appears you only have 48 hours to join the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to each chat reply from Sky within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky are not instant so you’ll need to regularly check the chat regularly.
