I was asked for a verbal password over the phone because I was trying to replace my stolen sky q mini box, they said that the online password is different. I don't remember doing the verbal password on the phone. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'd give them another call and sort out the password first - tell them you can't remember it, and ask to set up a new one. Once you've done that, you can more easily sort out the Mini.
