Unsure if I was scammed

I am very disappointed with the response from Sky to my many phone calls.

On 8th December I received a call from a supposed Sky representative offering a reduction in my monthly payments,  in addition she mentioned a free phone. She was aware of the content of my current package. I wasn't interested in the phone but as I  had recently been asking for a reduction ,I didn't have reason to query anything. Having realised along the way that this was a scam I contacted Sky straight away along with a report to the Police and received a crime reference number. The following day a Mac Book arrived. I duly informed  Sky (CODY) who said that a return label would be sent out to attach to the MacBook. This was delivered the next day by Royal Mail which I immediately attached to the item and gave straight back to the postman. No receipt was given.  Since that time I have had so many unproductive calls to Sky that I'm no longer sure If I'm speaking to a genuine representative or not. The stress of the whole thing ended up with a collapse and hospitalisation.

The last phone communication was 27th December when my son in law took over and was assured that I would not be liable for any future cost. Unfortunately only today I have been pressured to provide proof of postage for the computer which I have informed Sky on numerous occasions that I do not have. I have arrived at the point whereby I am considering borrowing the money for the item which I don't possess just for some peace of mind.

Sky should not allow this to happen to loyal clients!
