Unknown charge after termination of contract

Hi,

My contract was supposed to end yesterday, but I am still charged 38 pounds for May-June, what happened? Many thanks!

Because billing continues until your termination date, bills are generated 14 days prior to the payment date and you always pay Sky a month in advance for services so being billed is to be expected.

Providing you have kept your payment details active on your Sky account (direct debit or card information), Sky will typically refund the credit to you in about 6 weeks time. However if you want the credit returned earlier, once its showing in your Sky account has your account being in credit, if you post on this thread we can escalate to the Sky Messaging Team who will be able to process the refund for you.

Your May /June bill will have been produced before your services ceased, and will need to be paid. Sky will refund any overpayment from the date your service ended.

Fairly normal - assuming you have actually given notice (and had confirmation).

Bills are generated 14 days before billing date - completely as normal, even the month in advance.  The following bill will generate a credit back to the date of cessation.

Thank you for your reply. Will I get refund for that?
