Unfair Pricing
Why are new customers giving such cheap deals and us loyal customers are charged the earth for the same packages? And now just received an email you'll be upping my contract by another £10?!
I'd love to stay with sky but really need a better deal as I can not see how being loyal helps my bank.
I've called a few times told there is nothing that can be done I'm on the best deal you have but obviously you have better rates to rope the newbies in.
How is this fair?

Re: Unfair Pricing
You've answered your own question there. Most, if not all providers do this. If you jump ship to a competitor you'll find yourself in the same position is 18/24 months and you'd be able to benefit from new customer discounts at Sky or elsewhere.

What has fairness got to do with it? It's just business - it's harder to attract new customers than it is to keep existing ones, hence new customers get larger discounts. Presumably you wouldn't be considering switching if a new provider was charging the same as Sky....
