Unauthorized payment

I paid my 1st bill of £19 today using my debit card Sky took another £19 without my permission if this is not resolved and my money returned by next week I'm A canceling my rolling contract and contacting citizens advice

Why did you make a manual payment as this is not required when you have a payment method set up as Sky will take it automatically from you.

 

As you have done this if you can confirm you see a credit on your account for £19 then we can arrange for Sky's messaging team to contact you via here regarding a refund.

 

Btw, we are customers here so you are not talking to Sky support.

Ah thank you yes I did make a manual payment as I thought that was correct if you could arrange a refund that would be great yes it shows a £19 credit on my account many thanks

I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you later.

You need to watch out for a post from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread fairly regularly.
