Re: Unauthorised manual transaction
@Liberty2004 Sky would not be able to take money from your bank unless you have given them bank details for a direct debit or card details.
They cannot just make a manual withdrawal from your account.

Re: Unauthorised manual transaction
Only the account holder can make a manual payment as Sky will take the funds as per your bill each month so do feel free to explain why you believe they have taken a payment they shouldn't have done ?

Re: Unauthorised manual transaction
Having blocked sky from taking payments, they have circumvented the block by inputting the details manually

There's obviously a story behind this... You'll have to contact Sky to discuss it.

Why did you do that?
All Sky have done is take payment via a payment means you've previously supplied or used as your payment method.

@Liberty2004 How did you block Sky from taking payments and for what reason? I ask as if the reason is valid and you did it via your bank you may be able to claim the money back via your bank, however if you just stopped the payment without a valid reason then Sky can reuse any payment details you have previously given them to settle any bills owed.

The T's and C's you agreed to stipulate you pay by either a direct debit or continuous card payment.

Hi @Liberty2004 You mean, like you agreed when you accepted the terms and conditions. So you must have authorised it.
As Stated above Sky take payment either by direct debit or continuous card payment, as stated in there t & c which you must have agreed when you signed up for there service. Unless it somthing like payment has failed Sky do not except manual monthly payments infact doing so can end up a payment being taken twice.
If Sky have used payment details that you have given on previous payment though I agree may be bit Sky but if the was for a legitimate bill for services you have had I as sorry I don't think you can do much about it. As I don't think you can ask for a return of a payment for somthing Sky leaguly have the right to takei.e for services that they have provided you.
You say you have tried to block Sky taking payment had that succeeded you Sky services would be have been removed, you would not even been able to contact by Sky by phone even for making payment that way, you would have make the outstanding payment using there website or app. Continued non payment would result in in your account being put in the hands of a debit collection agency.
