Trouble opening new sky account

Hi there.  We are moving house tomorrow and would like to buy Sky Broadband and TV package for the new address.  We are currently with Virgin Media but were previously with Sky until 3 years ago.  The old SKy account was in my husband's name and both he and I still have sky.com email addresses.

Unfortunately when I try to set up an account with yourselves in my name it keeps referring back to Colin's old account and will not let me enter the details for the new property.  I am wanting to set up the package through Topcashback to take advantage of the deal.  Please could someone contact me to let me know how I can set up a new account but keep the same email addresses?  Unfortunately I need a prompt response as we both need internet access to work from home on Monday.  Please could someone call me today.  thank you.

This is a customer helps customer forum - no one is going to contact you from a post here.

 

I believe the lead period for a new (broadband) installation is likely to be 10 working days - it is likely no one is going to be able to provide your access at such short notice.

As you left Sky 3 years ago you will need to sign up as if you were a new customer.

 

If you want to use the same email address then you need to first remove it from the old account first so log into the old account here:


https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details


Then delete the email address by providing another one and logout of this account, this will then free it up to use when setting up your new Sky ID when signing up again to Sky.
