Tricked into joining Sky?
Was rung in march by sky asking me to join? I said I was in a contract with virgin until November. In short, he convinced me by saying Sky would do everything, cancel Virgin, pay leaving fees & free set up!
However he did not do any of it & I have now paid for virgin & sky for the last two months! Now I am back with Virgin on my original contract thankfully 😅 I have cancelled any payment to Sky, they have cost me a fortune!

Re: Tricked into joining Sky?
Did you receive equipment from sky, like was a satellite dish installed, did you have a sky q box, a sky glass tv, or a sky stream box ? If so canceling your payments to sky will only make things worse, you need to ring sky give them 31 days notice and return the equipment to sky,if you have not had any equipment from sky them then you have been scrammed

Probably an extremely misguided reference to Sky Switch Credit.

I imagine there's no way the £100 on offer for each of broadband and television would cover nine months of Virgin penalties.
Also note that while the gaining ISP
cancels an existing broadband subscription, that doesn't apply to television.
