Thinking of leaving

My sky bill has shot up significantly,  there is no way I can afford this luxury so unless I can find a suitable deal, unfortunately I'm going to have to cancel my account.

To cancel your TV subscription, if you’re out of contract you will need to give Sky the required 31 days notice.
The latest T’s and C’s explicitly state you can’t cancel when still in a minimum term deal unless Sky agree. If they agree you’ll have to pay the remainder of your discounted term.

Select ‘Need more help’ at the bottom of the following link which will provide contact details.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave

If you successfully cancel you should receive an acknowledgment email from Sky.

If you are cancelling Sky Q, return packaging will be sent out at the end of your notice period.
Make sure you keep your proof of posting.

@Dean527
Discounts may have recently expired or be ending soon. Sky will have told you the date the discount was ending when you took it out. Perhaps compare a previous bill to your latest bill and see where the amounts differ
www.sky.com/bill.

If your discounts have ended the best deals are normally acquired by calling Sky to try to negotiate a new deal or potentially amend your package which will now require a 24 month minimum term contract. Remember Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount, and recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are much harder to come by. If you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.

@Dean527

You had already had a reply on your first thread so not sure why you started another. Your options remain either negotiating a new discount or cancelling.m

Re: Thinking of leaving

I started at £57 now it's £100.7  I just can't afford this. Is there a better deal to keep me as a customer

@george+chessman  Then by all means give sky a call and negotiate one, you won't get anything by posting here as we're fellow customers not sky support
