Been a Sky TV customer for 22 years, and I have been off sick for 8 months and money is starting to get tight. So I thought time to save some money and cut back on things. So sky sports and Movies have to go. After trying nearly an hour to speak to someone I eventually got through to an operator who took my details and I explained what I wanted to do. He then put me on hold and then returned to tell me my request was done.
Now I know I might be coming across ungrateful but after 22 years I thought they might of done some sort of deal for me but no, so when I'm back in work will I be upgrading my package again? I don't think so because it looks like you don't get anything for loyalty and longevity.
Rant over and a very disappointed customer.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou called Sky to remove two packages which Sky have done, they are under no obligation to offer you anything and from reading other posts on here recently it appears discounts are harder to come by.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreDid you just ask to remove the packages or ask for discounts? (As they may not have been proactive)
...but any deal is now 2 years and as noted the discounts aren't what they used to be.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@BigChris1 So your complaining that the Sky agent did exactly what you asked them to do? Im a little confussed as to why you would find that a problem, if you wanted to negotiate a discount then thats what you should have done, its not Sky or the agents fault you didn't do that.
