Thanks……..For wasting my time!

If I could have rated zero stars I would have!!
Received a cold call from Sky to offer a broadband and tv package which I wasn’t initially interested in. Sky sales representative gave me a broadband and tv package including moves and all the sport channels as well as Netflix for £35 per month for 24 months. I asked for confirmation that sport channels and movies were included for the quoted price at least 6 times on the call and each time this was confirmed by the agent. I thought why not switch having received confirmation every time I asked even though I had an early termination penalty with my current provider. I proceeded with the offer and after the call ended received email confirmation of the package……guess what……NO SPORTS OR MOVIES LISTED!!
Contacted Sky as all calls are recorded and was informed it was a mistake by the representative, even after asking for clarification 6 plus times and each time receiving confirmation sports and movies were included. Even though the telephone transcript was recorded Sky wouldn’t accept liability and honour the offer that was clearly stated by their representative. Only option was to cancel (which wasn’t easy!) and return to my current provider. I can honestly say SKY are shockingly poor in all aspects and recommend anyone looking to switch to them to seriously consider other options!!!
Thank you SKY, I won’t ever consider your services again and will be giving this feedback to everyone I speak to regarding broadband and tv services

Hi @Ianc011   £35 per month for that package is completely unrealistic and the alarm bells should have been ringing. Forgetting about the broadband, the TV package alone has a list price approaching £100. And that is not including TNT Sports.

That sounds  like  a scam calls to me, i  would  call sky and ask  if they had called you and as already  posted  on here that is even better  than a new customer offer
