I phoned to switch from Q to Stream aside from the call handler trying to force Sky Glass on me I was being quoted £36 a month for sky stream my current sky TV package is £40. I thought sky stream was a lot cheaper. My TV package is on a deal for the next year but I need to cut down on expenses and thought that was the best way. The quoted price unless I am getting an absolute bargain (free) doesn't include my BB. Is this normal downgrade pricing?

Hi @lowwie Moving from Sky Q to Sky stream normally costs more, not less. That is because Sky don't need to do anything for you to continue watching Sky Q and they will discourage users changing until they are forced to. My quote to move to Sky Stream was £10 more than I am paying now.

Sky stream is normally a cheaper price then Sky Q but there is less channels on the entertainment pack I presume you are having the ultimate pack? With SkyQ did you have any discounts and have Sky given you any discounts for Sky stream? When I enquired of changing to Sky stream from Q they told meI would lose all my discounts I presntky had on Q and I would be charged the full price for the steam package. I did not take them up on the offer

Re: Switching Sky Q to Sky Stream
I did a quote for sky stream, which mirrored as closely my current Q sub and broadband, and it worked out quite a bit more expensive.

Re: Switching Sky Q to Sky Stream
As disappointing as that is im glad I'm not the only one who has experienced this. I only have Sky signature with no other packages except multi room which I pay £5 for.
