Switch credit refund

Hi all,

So I'm starting to get so frustrated now to the point were I'm thinking of just leaving. I have had my broadband in since the 24th July. I have since been sending over the relevant info for my Switch credit. I'm getting no where. This is the info I sent seriously how hard is it to accept this as it says how many remaining days I have with previous provider remaining etc.

@Shaun-87 bit optimistic to expect a response within 5 days.

Sky recommends you contact the switch credit team if you've been waiting more than 14 days: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/switching-credit-offer

Re: Switch credit refund

Hi @Mark39

I have had numerous responses. Like I say I'm getting no where though as they keep sending me the same reply. This was yesterdays response off them

Dear Mr

Thank you for providing your details and for sending over the final bill and your payment confirmation.

I can confirm that we have received the necessary documents to process your switch credit claim for your Sky account number.

To apply for the switch credit, we require:

A copy of your complete final bill from your previous provider, showing any early termination charges (ETC) you incurred for leaving early. These charges might be listed as cancellation, cessation, contract break, or cancel service fees.

From your email, it appears you have included only the payment confirmation.

Once we receive the relevant document We will review your documents to ensure everything is in order for your switch credit claim.

@Shaun-87

You must provide a copy of the bill from your previous provider where you have been charged the early termination fee and a copy of a statement showing that you have now paid it (specifically the early termination fees). You need to send this to Sky by email to [email protected]

@Shaun-87 it looks like they're not happy with the documentation you've provided - the bill from your former providers bill doesn't show specifically what the early termination charges.

.I'm sure I've recently seen a post showing a similar response from the switching credit team to another customer with the same provider.

Re: Switch credit refund

So, I've been in touch with Aquiss who are amazed why Sky  won't accept it as worded exactly the same as others who have gone over to the sky & didn't have an issue.

Hi Shaun,

We can't adjust the wording from we have already supplied out. I'm surprised however that your new provider, reportedly to be Sky, are not accepting it, as the wording is pretty clear. We have also not had any other reports of this being refused by other providers (or Sky for that matter)

Kind Regards,

Martin
