The source phone numver is kind of irrelevant in the modern climate as scammers can spoof phone numbers so it appears to be coming from an official number.
The way to deal with these calls if you are unsure is to provide an incorrect telephone password ( which is what a Sky employee will ask for when you speak to them on the phone). They will never ask for any other account information and if they are truly Sky they will know that the telephone password you provided is wrong.
