There is a monthly subscription going out of my account that I did not set up.

If it just says Sky Sports then you need to contact your bank about this.

I have and I have cancelled the subscription and the bank advised me to speak with you to understand more about the subscription, who set it up, duration, renewal. I think as a representative of Sky you need to be coming to me either a way to answer my questions and not defer please

Just in case it's not clear this is primarily a customer help customer forum.  You are not directly contacting Sky posting here.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

You haven’t contacted Sky by posting here. This is a customer ▶️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other customers.

 

If you've cancelled the subscription did you not ask Sky Ireland at the same time?
