Status on Refund amount for the month of Oct'24

Hi,
I stopped using Sky Broadband services from 7th October, 2024. I was charged full bill for that month and it was said by sky customer service that the amount will be refunded by month end. I am still waiting for the amount to be refunded.

If your payment method is still active on your Sky account refunds usually take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection. If your payment method has been cancelled Sky will have to manually raise a cheque (usually involving a back office team) and post it to you so it’ll take longer.

If you wish we can try to help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if that’s what you want to do but please confirm in your reply it’s currently showing as a credit on your Sky account.

@Sourabh  Refunds normally take around 6 weeks, however if you wish we can escalate your post to the Sky Messsaging Team who will be able to process this for you.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

I am not able to find if any credit is being shown in my sky account. Can you help me in checking the same? It was intimated to me on the call during Sept end.

If there is a credit on your account then it will be shown on your bill:

I checked and confirm that credit is showing in my sky account. Request you to initiate the refund of the same amount.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this, so if the bubble hasn't appeared by 7pm it will be tomorrow that they will contact you by it:


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.

You're currently talking to other Sky customers here and not directly to them - we cannot initiate a refund.

 

However, we can escalate your thread to talk to a Sky employee who can...  EDIT: Escalated...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
