Hi @pcbobuk

The email you received is the right one. We know there’s been a bit of a delay, but the changes are still coming and should be rolling out over the next few weeks.

Just to reassure you, these changes won’t put you into a new contract. They’ll simply be applied to your existing subscription.

We’ll pop an update on this thread next week. For now, just keep an eye on your subscription.

Apologises for the delay but thank you for bearing with us.

It now Thursday 27th August,  this post promised a update this week, well it now near the nd of the week and can't see any update coming.
In the meantime the new football season has started with football on Sky on multiple channels and single Sky sports subscribers who want to watch match on another channel than what the are  subscriber to are face with either not being able to watch and wait for it to be upgraded  automatically as promised or contacting Sky customer service to get the upgrade they have been promised to be greeted with only offer with 24 monthly term which according to the above post should not happen.

why the delay as stated in the above post?  Sky must know all the subscribers that are on this tariff as they have all received emails telling that be terminated and promising a no strings  attached offer of 24 months of complete Sky sports on there present price. Why is so difficult to implement this to all the affected subscriptions?
Also if what is true in the above post that this offer is not subject to 24 month term why have customer service staff not all been told of this fact. The above post is over a week old and posted by a Sky staff member and therefore Sky must  be aware of the problem that Sky agent are only offering these subscribers a 24 month deal,  why in this time has no action been taken by Sky to insure that Sky customer agents are aware of the so called correct information?

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your patience while waiting for an update.

I'm pleased to confirm that the offers are now being rolled out to customers. This process may take a little time, so please keep an eye on your Sky account for the updates to appear.

Thanks again for your patience.

Re: SkySport's Offer

I'm the same, at long last it was activated this morning for me, Happy days!!

All these problems seem to arise when speaking to overseas call handlers who are either not up to scratch or are not given the correct information to reylay to joe public, I've  had problems this year with British Gas and Virgin  Media with regards to understanding  problems, how nice it would be to bring back local call  agents who could at least understand problems, It's the old story I'm afraidprofits/shareholders come first and joe public is at the bottom of the list.☹️
