Sky is becoming too expensive

Think it's time to leave sky unless being a diamond customer they can do me an amazing offer as £113 a month is beyond belief.

@hornetville

Your VIP status has little if any relevance to your discounts.

If your discounts have ended you can contact Sky to try to negotiate a new deal or potentially amend your package which will require another 24 month minimum term contract. Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount, in fact recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are no longer being offered. If you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.

You can either call Sky or use the following link

Re: Sky is becoming too expensive

Just called to cancel Sky Stream as it's become far too expensive. Best they could offer was £5 off for a new 24 Month Contract?! When I signed up 18months ago I was paying £65 which has now risen to over £80!
Moving to Now TV for the sports where I will be paying £26 for six months.

They're usually sent to you towards the end of your notice period.

@hornetville

Sky usually sends packaging out near the end of the cancellation notice period of 31 days for TV or 14 days for Broadband/Talk so if you haven't received it then you can use whatever boxes you have or can get as this link will help you to print the return label and return it via Royal Mail:

Add a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment you have included.
Make sure you get and keep proof of posting when sending this off.

Sky pay. Read the replies to your posts.

Have you looked at the link I posted because it does clearly state that the label is pre paid so you don't pay a penny to return the equipment.

@hornetville

I'd observe that the non return fee is likely to be considerably more expensive than any packaging you might source yourself.

If you haven't got anything or can't get anything from the likes of a local supermarket then you will have to wait until Sky sends the packaging to you as per my and @Mark39 earlier posts.

Just remember to get and keeping proof of posting when returning it.

It's your choice if you want to return Sky's kit before the packaging is delivered, but if you do, you'll have to sort out the packaging for yourself.
