Sky equipment returned

I moved to Virgin Media 6 months ago, and I returned all equipment in December 2025 (Tracking #: XXXXX). My account should have been closed, but I am still receiving bills. I need this corrected, the charges removed, and written confirmation of account closure.

This is a customer ▶️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other customers. You haven’t actually contacted Sky by posting on here.

How did you cancel Stream?

Did Sky send you an email acknowledging the cancellation?

(Your image regarding the return of equipment has been rejected as Sky don’t allow them on the forum).

@justian

Did you contact Sky and give them 31 days notice to cancel Sky Stream because moving to Virgin (or any other company) does not see your TV account with Sky closed, as this only happens with Broadband and Talk.

Returning equipment, in itself, does not cancel any contract.

Re: Sky equipment returned

Thank you for your reply No, I did not know about this. When I switched from virgin to sky, I did not have to do any of that.

Then you need to call Sky to give notice to cancel.

However, they may ask for hardware to be returned now...
