Sky billing

I paid my sky bill today it's pending in my bank account but on the sky app it's still saying I need to pay what do I do

If it is pending on your bank then until the funds are released then the bill hasn't been paid so at present there is nothing more you can do but to wait for the payment to be cleared then your account should update to show that the bill has been paid.

Hi thank you it's so frustrating I called sky they said I haven't made a payment and fund will be refunded in 12 hours but I said I have paid it but is it down to sky to clear it then or my bank it's for a lot of money £269.47

Until it been cleared as stated above it hasn't been paid.

Not sure why they would say that ?

 

Did you make this manual payment as your services had been restricted as you should hav a credit/debit card or a direct debit set up ftom which Sky can take this payment from you each month.

I went on the my sky app 

I had to pay in full before I could set up direct debit again but it didn't take me to that it just took me back to the payment section asking me to pay it again but can't talk to sky till 8am because everything restricted on sky 

I'm just panicking now over it

I spoke to sky and got cut off they called me back and I checked the number and it was sky who called me back but the shut 9pm uk time

It might be worth leaving it now until tomorrow then see if this payment you made has been cleared and if it hasn't you will need to call Sky about this.

Hi ya I'm still arguing with them over it.

iv been told it was a error by my bank but iv been told my bank and spoke to someone and they said no it's not is it's sky.

iv put a complaint in about it because of how rude and disrespectful the agents were who I spoke to and they are looking in to it.

I called yesterday and someone is listening to the recordings of the calls I made to sky and I went higher then a manager I still have not sky because when I call I'm being asked to make the payment again in full which I have said no not until this is investigated correctly and I'm told exactly what has happened and what has gone on.

I have always done manual payments early and they still say that I'm overdue and that I owed them the money instead. I argued with them over that and they blamed me over it. So annoying 😡

It matters not if you have always done this as there is no need to make manual payments.

 

Have a look on your bill to see if the latest manual payment has gone onto your account as a credit instead of paying the bill which might be what has happened if it says the bill is still outstanding.

Why? The T's and C's you agreed to state you should have a direct debit or continuous card payment method set up. You therefore never need to make a manual payment. Once the planned payment that Sky are expecting has been processed a credit should appear on your Sky account for the amount you have overpaid.

 

This should automatically be used to pay your next bill so on that bill date no/less money should be taken from your account. I would suggest NOT making ANY manual payments unless requested to by Sky.
