Sky app

Is it me or is the sky billing app absolutely useless. I have just handed over a huge amount of cash to these people and after making the payment 3 days ago in the app it says I have not made payment. Why is this? Unfortunately as sky uses a Indian call center which is beyond useful and more useless I can not get a intelligent answer or resolve. If a UK based staff member reads these posts I would be happy to continue dialogue with you.

If you've made a manual payment then that is credited against next month's bill and not this one.

 

The automated method will still attempt to collect this month's payment.

 

You do not need to make any manual payments unless specifically asked for.

I choose to use a registered card as I don't trust direct debits. Every month sky gets paid ,every month I see the same thing. And just lately to add salt to a already opened wound they are now sending preprinted emails threatening to charge more because they have not been paid ... Come on sky no more excuses the problem has been clearly described I now need a fix and no more belittling replys.

The terms require a continuous payment method on your account and payments will be automatically taken.

 

If you choose not to do this then making manual payments can be a bit hit and miss.

Out of interest do you see a credit on your account ?

 

You don't have to setup a direct debit, you can use the card you have and use this as a regular payment of which Sky will take the payment from you each month.

No good to me then ... Thanks .. Looks like sky is happy to loose customers due to their lack of customer service and are happy for customers to clean up after Thier incompetence. Guess I do have a choice . And that choice I will make.

If you are 'out of contract' then you can contact Sky to give the appropriate notice to leave.

I see credits and all sorts of things but its mainly when I log in to the app I'm hit with messages like I've not don't this or that or sky will do this and that .. I'm kinda thinking I left school years ago

If you setup your card as a regular payment then those messages should go.
