Sky app restricted

Never needed to use sky app to contact Sky. Now I have what a nightmare 😲 

 

So my direct debit hasn't gone through this month I'm presuming because I have a new debit card (no probs with other bills though) 🤷🏻‍♀️ trying to access sky app to change bank details and pay month owing and it's restricted arghhh. Now I've probably incurred a late payment fee and I'm going round in circles on this page! Any help greatly appreciated 🙂

If you pay by a direct debit then the money for the bill is taken directly from your bank account so your debit card plays no part in it.

 

If you are seeing a restricted message when trying to view your bill it could be because you are either logged in with the wrong ID/email address or that your services haven't been linked as per this:

If you do pay by a direct debit (and not a card) and the payment has failed Sky will try again 10 days later so do not make any manual payment yourself as this will not stop Sky from doing this.

 

If you do pay by card then you will need to make a payment.

I did think that as all other bills have gone out with no problems. I have received an email today telling me to make sure I have money in my account which I have and they will take out with next months with a late fee charge. Is there a phone number where I can speak to someone please 🙏🏻

I don't use home phone and my mobile isn't through sky so to get there number I need to go through the sky app which is restricted still .... They don't make things easy!
