Sky account holder

Have asked sky operator to change email address and stop sending to old email account under partners and still cannot log in to my sky account as says not linked  to my email when she said had taken my no and email to send verification code nothing came through but then we found it on my partners phone I am the official account holder how can I change it when sky get it wrong

yes have changed email and password but still won't lik to me being the account holder problem was I was the bill payer and my partners phone and email was used for all the queries and subscription changes but he's lost his old email address hence why I rang sky to change all to me the sky person kept trying to send me verification links to my mobile and email nothing came through so she agreed I could just change my account details myself and it would work but doesn't then we found the codes on my partners mobile so she still didn't change my email even though I gave her these details 

any advise how I can get through to sky is much appreciated

Is your partner the account holder because if so this can not be changed but there is nothing stopping you from using the same details that he was.

No I'm the account holder but I added him as the email contact and mobile contact but asked sky operator to change details to mine as couldn't on line 

think I'll have to contact sky again but it's so painful! Thanks
