I added Sky Cinema to my Sky Stream account a couple of weeks ago, to cover the Christmas period. I read at the time that to cancel I would need to give 30 days notice, and that I would be able to continue watching until that time. Yesterday I cancelled Sky Cinema on the assumption that I would continue to have access for a month, but My Sky now tells me I can access it until only December 24th. So I'm giving a month's notice but getting only two weeks further access.
Is that right?

I called Sky about this today. From their call centre menu system I always choose, "thinking of leaving Sky", because that gets you to a human being the fastest 🙂
Sure enough, the computer set the expiry at the next billing date, in error. The agent recommended calling them to make changes to your subscription. I did mention that the menu system tells you to use the MySky app!
Anyway, all sorted.

Re: Sky TV package cancellation notice period
@Chris+Neal it doesn't sound right. It's 31 days notice required and you should have access right up to the end of that period.

Thanks. I'll call them in the morning and will update this thread with the outcome.

Re: Sky TV package cancellation notice period
That doesn't sound right to me as usually you have to gibe 31 days notice so if you don't lose access on 24th December you will have to raise this with Sky by contacting them about it. It might just be an error with the date and that you access continues until early next year.
