I am new to Sky-- the bills make some sense but not a lot--
they have said in my predicted bill that i will be chaged £6 every month for ad skipping-- what is that?? if i am watching anything live on TV, i wont be able to skip the ad in that.. are they talking about ITV or Netflix ads here??
but i have membership of Netflix anyways-- why do i have to pay Sky £6 for ad skipping-- anyone please advice
Thanks in advance
Swati

Re: Sky TV bill
But i do not wish to have ad skipping for £6 every month-- i do not mind watching ads..
i have tried to take it out from my package but it does not allow me online-- and its tough to speak with anyone as we are passed from pillar to post.
just started with Sky and everything is going so wrong-- they called me to book installation and said to be present at home in afternoon from 1 pm onwards but came at 9 in morning-- luckily my daughter was home who is 18 .. so things worked out-- but imagine no one being here at 9 ..
they could not fit the broadband and TV on same day-- had to do 2 visits.. and blamed the tree on the pathway and needing a hoist or truck.-- duh.. most houses in London has trees on street
now they say free channels-- tbh-- if i had an antenna i will have more free channels than what sky is giving .. many channels which are actually free are not there when i am checking with sky..
i think its early days-- maybe i should have my internet and TV package with different companies
enough of my ranting.. lets see but paying £6 for something i dont want is not fair at the end

Re: Sky TV bill
If I want to make changes - there is no option for it.
I would like to add TNT and Sky sports to my package and take away the £6 ad skipping, I am not sure on what should I do
any help or advice will be beneficial

Re: Sky TV bill
It should be fairly straightforward to add/remove packs via https://www.sky.com/mysky/tv/tv-pack.
Typically it wont allow you to remove any packs for which you have a minimum term for.
