On sky stream 31 day rolling plan, do you have to call them to give the notice or can you do it online? I would love to try it out but i hate the rigmarole of calling, being on hold, the hassle etc. if i decided it wasn't for me.

I would have thought that you would need to contact Sky and give them 31 days notice to cancel it, so you can either call or use the messaging service to do this.
