Sky Sport

Sky Sport was foisted on me as a free trial for a month and was told that I could cancel anytime within the month, after a bit of hassle, I cancelled but today Sky has taken £20 from my account, I eventually got someone on the phone and cancelled AGAIN, but I'm not confident that it has been cancelled. Any advice from someone who has had the same experience?

You have to give 31 days notice and will be charged as normal during that period (including the month in advance).

The subsequent bill will generate a credit back to cessation.

@Bigian2

To have not incurred any charges at all you would have had to have given notice of cancellation on the same day thr one month trial started.
