Sky Signature

I want to add Netflix to my subscription but the app is telling me I need to switch to Sky Signature.

I'm about to scream down the phone as I just need to speak to someone that can confirm if;

a) there's any price difference over what I'm paying for at the moment and,

b) will my channels change, i.e. will there be fewer channels?

Sky's frustratingly ridiculous automated system is just not fit for purspose and to just add a streaming platform to a subscription shouldn't be this painful.

If anyone has a number for Sky where I can actually talk to someone I'd be grateful or, if anyone knows the answers to my query, you'd make a very annoyed Victor Meldrew very happy 😡

Thank you.

All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

To add NetFlix you do need the latest base TV package (Signature).

You cannot add it if you're on an older package such as Entertainment.

Signature is all the major Sky channels without any premium (Sports/Movies).  It also includes Box Sets.

If you're on an older package then you'll almost be certainly be 'out of contract' and paying full list price.  If you switch to Signature and agree a 24 month minimum term you will be able to negotiate discounts.

Try the chat service: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv

I renegotiated my contract this way recently.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Hi @Steven+Gibson31

a) Doesn't it provide you with a price before you commit and confirm the change?

b) Signature has all the same channels as the old Entertainment package has, plus boxsets (now on-demand). So if you were paying for Boxsets, that will be removed.

Re: Sky Signature

Thank you, kind people..!

So, I selcted the 'issue with my bill' option and actually got through to a very helpful chap in the end. Turns out the Signature package saved me £10 per month over my current plan, which was a nice surprise. Just need to check everything I used to have is still there..!!
