Sky Q to Sky Stream
I am moving home from my parents house and Sky is registered to me at their home. So, I am doing a home move. I am changing from Sky Q to Sky Stream on this move. Until I activate my Sky Stream, the Sky Q is still active, in my account name, at their house.
My parents are creating a new Sky account in their name and will also take Sky Stream. We both ordered the Stream services on the same day.
At this time. My Stream Puck has arrived. I have not activated it as I know this will mean that the Q device at my parents house will deactivate. I will not activate it until my parents puck arrives and they activate Sky Stream.
My parents puck hasn't even been posted yet, and they ordered it on Friday. I want to activate my Sky Stream.
Can someone tell me what will happen to the Sky Q box at my parents house when I activate my box? Will they still be able to use apps like YouTube, Prime & Disney Plus. Will the Freeview channels still work? And is the Puck delivery delay a common issue?

Re: Sky Q to Sky Stream
@ScottSky you cannot normally have 2 separate Sky TV accounts at one postal address so either your pucks wont activste or the Q boxes will stop. As the two were ordered on the same day Sky msy not have picked up the 2 accounts but when they do it will cause one to cease..
It would be cheaper to have one account as each unit operates independently so you can watch what you want but the playlists will appear on all of the pucks but you can have one or several each if you want. One whole home pack can cover up to 6 pucks and 3 Glass `tVs.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode

Re: Sky Q to Sky Stream
Hi, with regards to my parents Sky, this is a brand new account on their name so wasn't ordered on my account.
The Sky Q has changed address to my address, but physically the box remains at my parents (sky said this would work absolutely fine until I connected my Stream)
Is this making sense. My Sky Q box is still at my parents, functioning fine as per Sky's suggestion. I dont. Want to leave my parents without TV so won't activate my stream until their seperate stream puck arrives at their home. But it's not even marked as posted yet.
My question is really - what will happen if I activate my stream to the Q box which is operating at my parents. Will it's deactivation be instant and what functionality will remain. as I said, Sky were totally fine with this until they get their own Puck delivered)
