My Sky Mobile Direct Debit declined on the 2nd of January (admin error on my part) I noticed and made the manual payment on the 4th.
I really need to know if the first payment will be reported as late to credit reference agencies.
I've contacted live support today and been told different answers each time.

You do know that manually paying it on the 4th was something you didn't need to do ?
With a direct debit when it fails for whatever reason Sky will try again 10 days later to take the payment which they will still do even though you have made the payment yourself. This payment you made should appear as a credit which can either be used against the next bill or can be refunded to you.

Hi 👋
Yeah I was aware but received contradicting live support so went with the safer option as I'm happy for that to just be next months credit worst comes to worse.
assuming now I still make the 2nd attempt successfully - is this reported as a late payment to CRA's?
