Sky Hub Returned Not Returned

I have just over £40 in my account as credit and was hoping for a refund from Sky. When getting in touch Sky are telling me they haven't received the return item. Yet as of 10th September Sky emailed me to say thanks for returning the hub. On that basis I binned my postage receipt because I was under the impression, as Sky emailed me, the parcel was returned. Sky are saying they haven't received it and therefore won't refund me the credit. To confirm my account is closed and no longer have a subscription.
What can I do?

If you have received the thanks email then give them a call about this as we could usually get you via here but sadly the system has been unavailable for a few months which is why you will now need to call Sky.

I presume your image was rejected as it contained a proof of posting receipt which isn't allowed on here. In hindsight we do recommend keeping the proof indefinitely for this very reason.
The returns are dealt with by Unipart on behalf of Sky and they are apparently taking a number of weeks to process them.
We would usually be able to escalate this to Sky via the Messaging Team on here but I'm afraid the option is not available and we don't know when it'll return.
You will need to persist in contacting Sky to try to resolve this.

I have checked the rejected image. It was rejected because it contained your full email address. Feel free to re-send it with any personal information blocked out.

I even sent Sky the email and they have said they still want a ID for proof of postal.
Sky help centre are the team I am interacting with.
Is there anyone else I can speak too?

Sky have been in touch this morning to say they did receive the hub as of 16th September.
Not sure if anyone has had any influence but if you did then thank you.
