Sky Errorenously cancelled Subscription
Hi All,
I gave notice to end my sky and broadband subscription on 18th December and to my surprise Sky cancelled my TV subscription today citing a technical glitch, I asked them to reinstate it and honor my contract end date of 18th december. They are telling me they can't do that and instead will set up a 24 month contract with 31 day colling period which will take me to my cancellation date.
I asked how the cancellation happend. and they said that my account wasn't under pencing cancellation, which is why a CRF was raised regarding the issue.
I understand your concern, but it appears that your account wasn't under pending cancellation, which is why a CRF was raised regarding the issue.
I asked if it wasn't under pending cancellation why was my sky account cancelled then? They advised that I had scheduled your TV cancellation for the end of your contract, but due to a technical glitch, the cancellation was processed earlier than expected. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
They keep insisting they cannot reinstate what I had until the original termination date and want me to take out a 2 year contract with 31 say colling period.
I am getting no where, can someone help?

As we're just other customers here we can't take any direct action...
All we can suggest is logging an official complaint and go from there.
