Sk iys ripping me off

Sky did not fulfill my contract, paying for 2500 mbps but got 35 - 120 MBPS. I left within the 41 days cooling off period. THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME £128 EARLY TERM FEE, £27 FOR 3 WEEKS AND £32 FOR THE NEXT MONTH NOVEMBER. I complianed on phone, got a nice chap, cancelled ALL CHARGES. SENT ME A TEXT SAYING ACCOUNT NOW CLEARED, NOW TODAY AT 17.50 SENT ME AN EMAIL THAT I NOW OWE THEM £29.95???.

I am 75 and stressed out, I really feel like doing my self in.

ANY PNONE NUMBERS TO HEAD OFFICE OR EMAIL ADDRESSES PLEASE.

I can't go onuch longer with their list and receipt.

They have threatened me with dept collection agency

PLEASE HELP ME

Re: Sk iys ripping me off

Hi Mark.

YES, I have a confirmation email stated that fact, I also returned WiFi plug, also got confirmation as well.

All my account was cleared and got text confirming that.

Got an email this evening asking  me to return and they will waive the charge of £29.95 if I rejoin, total threat and and corruption.

They have also threatened me with dept collection.

I've had enough.

Any help, or email phone number for head office.

Colin

What exactly do they say the charge of £29.95 is for?

Re: Sk iys ripping me off

Yes, royal mail collected it but I have an email saying " thanks for returning router and WiFi plug" so they acknowledge receiving it.

Can't trust sky done me 15 years ago, thought they had changed, never again, doing my box in. Thanks for the reply, I really don't understand the rip off tactics.

@ColinLeader

But do you have the tracking details to hand and can you confirm the £29.95 charge is a "non return" one ?

Hi @ColinLeader I'm guessing the logistics team to whom you returned the broadband Hub haven't notified Sky that they've received it. Consequently you've been charged a £29.95 non-return fee. Unfortunately it does happen.

It's easy to put right if you have the tracking information which confirms it has been delivered.

Re: Sk iys ripping me off

Hi Mark.

Think it's sorted.

Phoned Sky resolutions team, nice lady wiped off charge so hopefully  now clear of sky.

I am going to give you a number to call sky, it was given to me by the sky engineer that came to try and sort things out. Its a call centre just outside Edinburgh, you might get Leeds also. important thing is they are English speaking, and I'm not prejudice in anyway, but difficult abroad. This the number. But won't let me put it why

SKY (removed)

Hope this helps other users.

Thanks for all replies and help.

Colin.
