who will then decide whether they should refund the money taken ONE WEEK after termination of all my Sky services (that's one week after it had ended, not one week after I had given notice of cancellation).
On that point it's quite normal. Bills are generated 14 days before the payment date so it was generated 7 days before the end of your notice period and when you were still a paying customer.

Re: Service cancelled but still awaiting refund of credit balance
Thanks @Tom and @Mark39I’ve followed every step your agent advised, but the issue still isn’t resolved. It’s clear that only the Sky ID team can fix this by unlinking my account so I can re-link it properly.
I called and spent another 40 minutes on the phone. I was told it had been done, but when I tried re-linking it and logging in again, it still didn’t work. The agent on live chat confirmed it hadn’t been done correctly. In total that's nearly 4 hours on the phone now and no less than 17 agents I've spoken to trying to resolve this.
I cannot get the agents in India to do their job properly at all. This has gone on far too long and I’m completely fed up. The overseas support agents I’ve dealt with clearly don’t have the tools or knowledge to fix this, and I’ve wasted hours trying to get it sorted.
On Monday I will be cancelling the entire service. It’s only just gone live and it’s already turned into a complete farce.
