Secondary Sky iD Access

I'm trying to add family members to access and watch Sky TV on my account. However, I can't find the any link that prompts being able to add them?

Screenshot below, no active links to click.

Re: Secondary Sky iD Access

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Hi @Paul_R   I agree this is not very clear and I have found that Google clearly shows the procedure. In essence the additional user has to create their own account with a secure password. You then provide them with your ID number so they can link it to your household. Search Google for "how to add additional user on sky" and it provides the link.

Re: Secondary Sky iD Access

Hi @MightyQuinn Thanks for the information.

I saw your other post in relation to this about adding a family member (using a test email) which does work. This added them as an Authorised Sky iD user, so they had access to make changes ot the account and bills (there's no option to change this). I wanted to set them up as a Secondary Ski ID user (as seen at - sky.com/mydetails/additional-users), i.e. just access to watch tv.

I contacted Sky (so many different people!), finally they confirmed there's an issue with this ...the links don't work as they should. So, the workaround to this is for those family members to setup their own Sky iD using their own email & password, then login to SkyGo and link to the main users account by using the postcode and 9-digit Viewing Card Nr.
