@Frenchman1
If your discounted minimum term has ended or its ending soon the best new discounts are still normally acquired by contacting Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will require a new 24 month minimum term contract.
’Significant’ discounts seem harder to come by these days so if you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer is unlikely to be available when you call back. Also remember you’re not a new Sky customer so don’t expect anything on a par to a new customer deal.
See this link…

If you decide it’s no longer value for money and you’re thinking of changing providers remember that at the end of their minimum term you'll be in the same position with that company at which point you'll be able to return to Sky and benefit from the new customer discounts available at that particular time.

Been where you have been, wanting to reduce my Sky bill but not wanting to leave Sky 😫
Everytime my discount period & contract was about to end, I either threatened to leave or submitted a cancellation request, which lead to the haggling/ negotiating over price. TBH, I hated the haggling whether via phone call or online chat.
I eventually left Sky (of sorts) by asking if the amount I was paying was worth the amount of TV I and family actually watched which actually was football, F1 and Sky News. Sky News we can watch on YouTube and and the football and F1 we could watch on Sky's Now TV.
I currently pay £31 for Sports, Cinema, Entertainment & HBO and Ultra Boost (4K whole home equivalent). I didn't really want Cinema (£4.99) or Entertainment & HBO (£3.99) but the price was cheap and the cancellation is very easy, so thought why not?
The UI on Now TV is nowhere near as good as Q or Stream but it is far cheaper and can be watched on of the 6 TVs in my home and the picture quality and reliability is excellent. The Now TV app is good and I regularly download movies or series to watch offline when I travel.
Best of luck
Now TV Sports + Entertainment + Cinema + Ultra Boost @ £31 pm (till October 2026)
