Scam need help
A few days ago someone logged in to my account and placed orders for 3 phones.
About 15 minutes
I received a call from someone saying they are from sky fraud department and that an address change was flagged on the account and wanted me to confirm this which I didn't.
He then said he couldn't cancel the order and I would have to accept the delivery and he will then arrange for them to be returned.
I then received an email saying the credit agreement was cancelled. The sky advisor i rang today said the agreements don't get cancelled until the phones have been returned
I've then received this email asking me to accept the devices
Accept Your Sky Delivery
Hello Ch************
We wanted to remind you: please accept your Sky delivery when it arrives.
If you refuse delivery at the door, the parcel is sent back via the courier’s return network, which is slower than a standard delivery. It often takes around 14 days for refused parcels to:
• Be routed back through multiple courier depots
• Be processed for returns
• Finally reach our warehouse and be scanned back into our system
Here's more detailed explanation about why it can take more than 14 days for a refused delivery to reach back to Sky:
When a parcel is refused at the door, it doesn’t come straight back to us. Instead, it has to go through the courier’s return logistics process, which can be much slower than normal delivery. Here’s why it can take more than 14 days:
• The courier first returns the parcel to their local depot.
• Then it’s sent through a series of national hubs and depots for processing, rather than a direct return route.
• Couriers prioritize new deliveries over returns, so returns are often placed on lower-priority transport routes.
• Parcels may wait several days at each depot before being moved again.
• Once the parcel finally arrives back at our warehouse, it must still be checked, scanned, and processed into our system — which adds extra handling time.
• If there are high volumes (such as after holidays or sales events), processing delays can increase even further.
Unfortunately, while the parcel is still in transit, your first bill can be generated automatically — even though the equipment hasn’t reached us yet. This can result in an unpaid bill being reported, which could negatively affect your credit score.
By accepting the delivery, you stay in full control. If you still need to return the equipment:
• We can arrange a free home collection
• Or provide a QR code so you can drop it off at any Royal Mail location — often on the same day
• We can send you the packaging that you can use to put your parcel inside and drop it off at any Royal Mail Shop or Post Office.
Accepting your delivery avoids delays, unwanted billing, and protects your credit profile.
The contact number isn't valid.
The guy from the fraud team has called me to remind me that the phones are been delivered and for me not to reject them he never asks me to go through ant security eu
I rang sky myself and the cancellation advisor said the fraud team can definitely cancel orders and would contact dpd to stop the delivery.
He's logged a case with the fraud team and they will be in contact shortly
I am not sure you to bel

Re: Scam need help
If you haven't already make sure you have changed your password on your account:
https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/
And any emails you get that offers you 30% off bills or similar are scam ones so need to be deleted and not any links clicked through in them.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can
