Scam caller?
I received a call on Saturday regarding my phone bill ect and offered me discounts, which sky have done in the past. They knew all my bill information which phones I had etc so stupidly fell for the what I now believe is a scam. What can I do to proctect myself?

If it's a scam, the next step will typically be delivery of one or more iPhones, which the criminals will then attempt to convince you to 'return' to addresses under their control.
You can either refuse the delivery, or accept it and then contact Sky yourself using publicly available details (and not anything provided in the initial contact or subsequently by unsolicited telephone call) : personally I'd suggest refusal.

They asked me to confirm my DOB and first line of address, stated the exact price of my phone bill, sky tv and broadband offered me discount (this is the first time sky have offered me discount) told me all the contact numbers on my account. Then sent me a link to login to my sky account to the confirm the discount.

At which point, if it's not actually a Sky website, you've given the criminals your Sky username and password.

I would also report this to Sky as that link would have been a fake one designed to capture your login details. Look out for devices like phones turning up and should this happen do not do anything apart from letting Sky know that a device has turned up:
