What you're seeing are new customer offers. You're obviously not a new Sky customer.
Most, if not all providers do this now. From recent posts on here it does seem that decent deals are increasingly hard to find. If you choose to leave the same will happen at the end of your discounted deal with whoever you go with. Once you've been away for 18 months you'll be able to rejoin Sky and benefit from new customer discounts.

@Gareth69 Simple, other companies will be offering significant discounts to attract new customers.

Re: Same package cheaper elsewhere
When you joined Sky you would have been given a discount compared to what others at the same time who were already customers that were paying.

Re: Same package cheaper elsewhere
Yes, that could easily be the discount you've had up to now.

Did you switch to another provider? Was it a simple thing to do?
