SKY NOT HELPFUL

I cancelled my Sky account (TV/Broadband/Phone) in June 2025, with all the services to end on

14 July, and the equipment has now been returned.

I received a bill for the period 24 July-23 August 2025  (£153.04) and Sky took my direct debit for this amount, I rang Sky and was told that my account had been cancelled and the payment they took was in error and that a credit would show on the next statement and I would get a refund on

25 August but of course this has not happened. The latest bill shows an outstanding amount of £13.06

I have tried ringing Sky -on numerous different numbers - but all I get is an automated message telling me to update my payment details to enable me to access my Sky package

Tried the virtual assistance but that is a joke

All I want to do is talk to an actual person !!!!

Please can anyone help

@Barrie8

Technically the payment wasn't taken in error. Your bills were generated 14 days before the payment date, so when you were still a paying customer.

Any overpayment should be showing as a credit on your Sky account not as an outstanding amount. Does it show as a credit which should be reimbursed to you about 6 weeks after your last day of connection.

Another contact option is to use social media as there are links to Skyscsites at the bottom of this page. They can also be contacted via Facebook Messenger.

Re: SKY NOT HELPFUL

Thank you for your message the £15304 isnot showing as a credit amount but on the latest statement there is £13.62 showing as a debit amount and to me it looks like Sky think that I am still a customer

I really would try social media to see if they can help with this as usually we could get you some help via here but that is currently unavailable with no known date for it to return.
